Learn To Run.

Have you ever wanted to run but not known where to start? Maybe you’ve tried going out for a jog only to get out of breath, develop shin splints and quit the next day. Perhaps you have friends who run and you’d love to join them. Or maybe you’ve been looking for a new social activity that will help you to get fit. If any of these things ring a bell, join us for one of our twice-yearly “Learn to Run” courses. Open to all ages and fitness levels, this course will take you from absolutely nothing to 5 km over 10 weeks.

The course involves a 20-minute talk (expect topics such as shoes, clothing, nutrition and stretching) followed by a run on Tuesday evenings (start 7.00pm), and practice runs on Thursday nights (7pm) and Sunday mornings (9am). Alternatively, you can practise on your own or…
